on 24/07/2008 by Lisa Thank you for bringing to light the severe insult to farmers people make when they throw away food. My father is a farm worker and I have always been brought up to believe that food should not be wasted. He and all the other farmers work so hard to bring us food we should respect their produce not take it for granted. |

on 16/07/2008 by janet hopkinson Many many congratulations on Farming Heroes - it actually brought a tear to my eye - at last, someone championing the British farmer rather than condemning - I could have watched for hours. You have done more good for British agriculture in one hour than I could ever imagine - the programme should be compulsory in every school curriculum. Keep up the good work - I will be glued to the rest of the series - very very informative. |

on 27/06/2008 by Narelle Hollis My husband and I love your show!..My sister and her family put us onto watching on Sunday evenings which truly made the start to the week so much easier to take (especially after watching all the trials and tribulations of building up the farm - so inspiring!!). My husband heads back to the UK from Adelaide, Australia to visit his family next month - my only request is for him to go visit the farm and bring me back a T-Shirt. All the very best to you all. on 26/06/2008 by Trudy Snape HI we have been watching your inspirational show here in Australia - i think your show should be shown to all school children for a number of reason - how to respect nature and how not to run a business ha ha. we love watching the programe and think that Dolly was your true friend and helper - he knows what you really wanted to do, and how to do it, and gave it humour. well done and can we see more programmes in the future - and please come to Australia again. Well done you. You have had the passion and the guts to do something that we had wanted to do an were to scared to take the leap into financial uncertanty. We just wanted to thank you and hope that you keep the passion and continue to prosper. Mark is from a farming background but works for the Department of Ag. on 21/04/2008 by Jill My husband and I breed Wessex Saddleback pigs in the SouthWest of Western Australia. We love your show and often are in hysterics as you go through many of the same trials and tribulations as we have done raising rare breed pigs. We think you are a great ambassador for rare breeds - keep up the good work. |

on 20/04/2008 by Julie Macdonald Well done on living your dream. You are both amazing. Your strength and determination in the face of adversity is inspirational. Watching your show (in Australia) has made me laugh, and made me cry. My husband and I ran our own business for many years, and can relate to the struggles and stresses you are enduring. The highs are wonderful, and the lows are demoralising, but always stay focused on what your dreams are, you’ll do it !!! You have a world of people behind you wanting you to succeed, and I’m sure you’ll achieve everything you strive for. Well done. |

on 01/03/2008 by Jen Thanks for brilliant programme. I have been working on our family pig farm for 11 years now and it is great that the nation has been given such a realistic insight on keeping pigs. I am currently trying to keep my family as positive as possible with the high feed costs and low pig price. Hopefully the march will help!
Many thanks to you all,
Jen |
