Our Harvest at Jimmy's festival is taking place on Saturday 11th and Sunday 12th September. Limited tickets are available at www.harvestatjimmys.com .

Autumn is here, so please come to Jimmy's Farm and enjoy the Suffolk Sunshine. This week enjoy:

This summer we will have lots of activities for you to enjoy on the farm including:

NATURE TRAIL ACTIVITIES:

Jimmy has introduced two new Rheas (boy and girl) to the Nature Trail! The Rhea is a member of the ratite group of birds, like the Ostrich and the Emu. It is about a fifth of the weight of an ostrich, but it is still a big bird, weighing from 23-27 kg when adult and standing over five feet tall.

Their homeland is the Pampas of Argentina, extending into Patagonia in the south. Thus, they come from temperate zones, and so they can thrive in the open in our climate.

So come and see these intriguing birds.

Butterflies are Jimmy's specialist subject. Part of his dream has been to create a haven for indigenous and tropical butterflies at Jimmy's Farm.

Aimed at all ages, the Butterfly House is designed to transport visitors to another world where butterflies flutter gracefully around a tropical paradise.

The Butterfly House offers the British public an incredible chance to see rare and imported species from as far a field as Asia and South America. Visitors can also observe their life cycle up-close in this new addition to Jimmy’s Farm.

Get up close and personal to our animals on our Nature Trail.

We have a Piggy Bank, Guinea Pig Village, Ferret World, Rabbit Mountain, goats, turkeys and lots of rare-breed chickens and ducks in Chicken Safari to see.

Also try to spot our Peacocks!

Building dens and shelters is something that we have all done as children and helps us to create a bond with nature. 

We want to encourage children to get out into the outdoors and building dens in the woods is an activity that children and adults can enjoy and take part in.

So explore our beautiful woods and build dens and shelters!

Visit Darwin's Garden at Jimmy's Farm. The garden is designed to reflect Jimmy's own interest in Charles Darwin.

Jimmy became even more interested in Darwin when filming a BBC programme all about Darwin. He was determined to bring some of his findings back to the farm!

Our Farm Shop literally bursts with delicious goodies in the pantry.  We have carefully sourced high quality produce for you to enjoy. We sell everything from condiments, nibbles, chocolates and champagne to Jimmy's Farm souvenirs.

In season, we sell our home grown vegetables in here [food miles are about 20 paces].  And we aim wherever possible to stock and support local producers. 

The team in our shop are looking forward to your visit.  Don't forget to buy your lovely re-usable Jimmy's Farm bag when you do your shopping to help with our efforts to be more environmentally friendly.

The Deli counter is a new addition to the Farm Shop and has an ever growing range of cheeses, olives, pates and much more for you to enjoy.

Our Jimmy's Farm Field Kitchen is situated in the old cattle yard, in the heart of Caela's beautiful Herb Garden. 

A real Jimmy's Farm breakfast, lunch or afternoon tea is available.  We delight in using all the fresh herbs and vegetables direct from the farm gardens. The seating area is outdoors.

Our Butchery is one of the Best in the Country. Our range of Pork, Beef, Lamb and Chicken is all Free-Range and Rare Breed. 

Every possible cut is available and our on site butchers are always at hand to talk to you about our produce.

My Son (9 months), daughter (3 years) and I came to the Good Life Show today (Saturday 29th May) and we thoroughly enjoyed seeing all the animals and having a tour of the farm. The Butterfly House is amazing and my daughter had a great time in the playground and on the mini ride-on tractors! We loved listening to the music in the rain whilst eating some yummy burgers and stocked up on goodies for all of us to enjoy at home!
