We have developed a range of different Sponsorship Packages to allow companies and individuals to support the work of Jimmy's farm as well as promote their own organisations.

Detailed below you will find details of the main sponsorship packages that we offer at Jimmy’s Farm. Packages A-D are more suited to Companies whilst Packages E and F are open to Companies and Individuals.

What is a Farmer’s Market?

On the first Saturday of every month we hold a Farmer’s Market at Jimmy’s Farm from 10am until 2pm. As well as selling our own Farm produce there are stall holders who are local, regional suppliers, selling the highest quality of produce. At most events we usually have an additional market which could be either a Gardener’s Market or a Craft Market or a Grand Plant Sale.

What is the sponsorship cost for this package?

£1,000 per market or £8,000 for all 10 markets per year [excluding Christmas]

• Signage at the markets [to be agreed in advance by us].
• Your Company name and logo on all print advertising material.
• Your Company name mentioned in promotional newsletters [18,000 person database].
• A Free stand at each market.
• Your Company name mentioned on the events page of our website against your sponsored event.

What is a Farmily Fun day?

On the last Saturday of every month we hold a Farmily Fun Day at Jimmy’s Farm from 10am until 4pm. These are great days of fun for all the family with everything from Punch and Judy, giant rabbits, orphan lambs, face painting, weird and wonderful creatures to a bouncy castle! Each month we have a different fun filled theme and in 2008 these have included sheep shearing, scarecrow competitions, military mayhem, dog shows, Homes and Gardens, a summer fete and the Fire Brigade!

£1,000 per day or £8,000 for all 10 in a year

The chance to run a family based competition at the event.

What is a Major Farm Event?

Every year we hold some special events to celebrate significant days. These include: our Annual Sausage Fest where there are lots of great sausage products for sale, cookery demonstrations with Jimmy and food tasting sessions; an evening of spooky Halloween fun for all little witches, ghouls and wizards; the two day Christmas Farmer’s Market, which is a whole weekend of Christmas food, gifts and crafts. Father Christmas always joins us and there is carol singing and mulled wine!

What is the sponsorship cost for this package?

£2,000 per event

What does that cover?

Signage at the markets [to be agreed in advance by us].

Your Company name and logo on all print advertising material, including the Flyer that is issued to all visitors upon entry to the event.

Your Company name mentioned in promotional newsletters [18,000 person database].

A Free stand at each market.

Your Company name mentioned on the events page of our website against your sponsored event.

A mutually agreed 100 word press release on the news pages of our website.

A 6 month listing on our website under the “Friends of Jimmy’s Farm”.

A mention in Jimmy’s personal Blog on the website.

The chance to run a family based competition at the event.

Inclusion on all our PR, press and media coverage.

Additional footfall due to higher advertising spend by us and historical popularity of events.

If you do not want to spend as much, we are willing to look at two companies sharing the cost of the sponsorship, providing both parties agree to their company’s name being linked to the other company. Therefore, for half the costs detailed above you can enjoy the same benefits but you would have to share the publicity with the other company and your inclusion as one of the “Friends of Jimmy’s Farm” would be reduced to 3 months.

What is a Specific Project?

At Jimmy’s Farm we are always developing new schemes. The major ones in 2008 include the creation of our Darwin’s Garden and the opening of a Butterfly House. In the future we are looking to convert the barn into a brand new restaurant. We are also developing the educational opportunities we offer to children and we regularly run courses on Being a Farmer, Den Building, Vegetable Growing and Cookery and Sheep Keeping. This year we have started doing Secret Tours of the Farm when you get see all the nooks and crannies of the farm that the general public never usually get to see! All of these projects cost money and we are always looking for sponsors to support their development.

What is General Sponsorship?

A donation towards the general running, upkeep and support of the work of Jimmy’s Farm

What is the sponsorship cost for this package?

£300 for each month’s publicity

What does that cover?

A 1 month listing on our website under the “Friends of Jimmy’s Farm” for each £300 sponsorship.
