HERB GARDEN
HERB GARDEN

The herb gardens are where it all began for the Gardens at Jimmy’s Farm.  Caela worked tirelessly to create a wonderful area for our visitors to enjoy all the aromas while they sip their tea!

The herb garden now has a greater selection of herbs than ever . The centre bed has a central Bay tree and there are several varieties of thyme in the circular clock bed. Within this bed we have a selection of mints and basils. All identified with green wooden labels and most you can purchase in the plant sales area if any should take your fancy.

We use the herbs to make our own soaps, which can be purchased in the Garden shop, situated right beside the herb garden. Some of our crafts also are derived from this garden, such as the newly stocked lavender pillows filled with our sheep’s fleece and lavender flower heads - all made by our local craft friends.

Within the garden we have a small selection of vegetables growing, just for old times sake!  In the beginning, the herb garden housed the first vegetables grown on the farm before expanding down on to the lovely new vegetable garden. Sweet peas and many cottage plants are also growing here so enjoy the sensory deluge!
